Official Tunisian Press Agency, obtains “excellence prize” in photography competition
Tunis , June 26, 2008 (TunisiaOnline)--A photograph taken by a photographer of the Official Tunisian Press Agency, TAP, representing a young handicapped Tunisian girl attending an educational class, received the “excellence prize” at a photography competition organized in Portugal.
The photography was shot during an event sponsored by the Basma Charity Association for the employment of the disabled, in Tunisia .
The competition which took place during the 17 th edition of the general assembly of the Alliance of Mediterranean Press Agencies, also awarded “excellence prizes” to Spain 's EFE press agency and the Mauritanian press agency, AMI.
The prize was awarded during the general assembly's closing ceremony held in Lisbon , in presence of the senior officials of Mediterranean press agencies.
