President Ben Ali congratulates President George. W. Bush on 232 th anniversary of US Independence Day
Tunis, July 4, 2008 (TunisiaOnline)--On the occasion of the 232 th anniversary of the proclamation of the American Independence Day, President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali has sent a message of congratulations to the US President George. W. Bush.
In his message, the Head of State expresses his deep satisfaction at the long standing relations of friendship between both countries, while reaffirming his commitment to pursue common action so as to strengthen them further and to diversify them, in the service of the two friendly peoples and in concretization of the noble humanistic values and principles that they both share, such as freedom, democracy and tolerance.
President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali also expresses the hope of seeing all the efforts and initiatives aiming at setting up a just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the Middle East , crowned with success, so that the peoples of the region can reap the benefits of peace, security, stability and prosperity.
